Both cars were praised for combining a “beautifully balanced rear-wheel-drive chassis” with a great range of engines and class leading fuel economy and emissions. This is the third year in a row that the BMW 3 Series Convertible has been awarded the top prize for a four-seater cabriolet, judges were impressed with the cars folding hard-top roof which turns the car from coupe to convertible in just 23 seconds.
